How to best use Primary Record to take care of my family member?
The Primary Record team will continue to share best practices for organizing medical data in Primary Record to help share with others. When getting started, here are our top four recommendations:
- Invite a trusted Collaborator to the Medical Profile to get help keeping information organized.
- Begin to capture key Care Team members that you call or see often. In Care Team, you can organize:
- Support: Such as transportation, adult or child daycare, legal or financial planner, dog sitter
- Insurance: Case manager
- Providers: Doctors, nurse practitioners, a Clinic or Hospital, a school nurse, a physical or mental therapist
- Search to connect a patient portal to pull medical information in quickly and edit the information to make it accurate.
- Scan documents or download medical reports to upload into a Note to attach to a medication, condition, visit, or allergy.
